Position Type: Full - Time 

 

Essential Functions: The Project Analyst role supports the Project Lead in the execution, management and operation of the project. This role provides a variety of administrative support functions including project management, contract administration, and fiscal management. Support efforts include but are not limited to:

  • Prepares reports for the Project Sponsor
  • Prepares agendas and meeting minutes for Project Reviews
  • Assists the Project Lead in determining acquisition strategy and project options
  • Works to meet ISO, SAIW SOP’s, and Work instruction requirements for projects
  • Reviews Vouchers of support contractors
  • Provides monthly delivery of Project Performance Report (PPR)
  • Receives and processes funding documents
  • Works with project lead to develop and prepare cost estimates
  • Responds to Data Calls
  • Develops, maintains, tracks project schedules in MS Project
  • Work to develop Project Documentation including project management plans, communication plan, risk plan, WBS, RACI matrix, project charter
  • Utilizes Navy ERP to extract data necessary in performing management and financial analysis and report preparation
  • Analyzes project requirements in the areas of financial management, program scheduling, milestone tracking, critical path analyses, and support requirements, and performs other related analyst/management activities
  • Assists with impact studies, cost/benefit analyses, dependency models, and project tracking methodologies
  • Other duties as assigned or required


Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • At least four (4) years of related work experience which includes program management, contract administration, fiscal management, or other related efforts
  • Experience shall include analyzing, controlling, planning, organizing, budgeting, administering and managing a project.

Desired:

  • Experience utilizing NERP


Security Clearance:   
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.  Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  


Education:
High School diploma or GED required. BS or BA degree from an accredited institution in business or related discipline desired.
