Position Type:

Job Description:

• Provides asset management support to the General Equipment Team.
• Identifies new/incoming assets and/or existing uncoded assets and arranges appointments with the asset's custodian to barcode and document the asset when it arrives.
• Maintains counts of assets, jobs performed, percent of work completed, etc. and reports on these counts monthly.
• Works within Navy ERP to maintain data elements of all asset records.
• Updates incorrect data within Navy ERP.
• Maintains all key supporting documentation with the asset record.
• Performs custody transfers and documents within Navy ERP.
• Performs equipment disposal and proper documentation of disposal.
• Prepares asset reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• At least four (4) years of general clerical experience or two (2) years of Government or military experience in clerical functions.
• At least one (1) year of asset management, material management, and/or logistic experience 
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.

Security Clearance: 

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.  Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:

• High School Diploma is required.
