Position Type: Full-Time


Essential Functions:

  • Perform duties to successfully close each month, quarter, and year of the accounting period.
  • Enter Journal Vouchers (JV)
  • Perform Purchase Order / Purchase Requisition Reconciliation
  • Quarterly Reporting for JV logs
  • Support DoDAAC requests by creating new and updating existing DoDAACs in UIC Management System.
  • Support Fund Code requests by providing DFAS with load file from requestors.
  • Support audit inquiries for the financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR) team
  • Provides input and assists with the development of updates to existing business processes and procedures related to financial reporting.
  • Analyzes financial statement information to validate Navy ERP financial postings
  • Respond to data calls/queries
  • Research and resolve financial reporting discrepancies by preparing and posting necessary journal vouchers in Navy ERP.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position


Desired:

  • Navy ERP experience
  • Active Secret Clearance


Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
AS or AA degree. An additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for an AS or AA degree.
