Work Location: This is a remote position.

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. 
 

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Teamcenter Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment (BMIDE)/Style Sheet Developer to support the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter services projects in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Government Cloud Environment (GCE) for our Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) customer. You will work closely with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) integration team to transform customer requirements into successful implementation projects, coordinating with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), various government acquisition groups, and remote technical teams to accomplish the goals of the project.

As the Teamcenter BMIDE/Style Sheet Developer you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering and logistic Active Workspace integration and interface needs. You will be responsible for design, develop, and sustain the current Teamcenter environment and related application systems.

 

In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and are excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems related to the development of this project.
 

Essential Functions:

  • Sound understanding of latest Teamcenter architecture, features, application interface framework.
  • Configure Workflows, BMIDE, Stylesheets, ACL's, Dispatcher, and Active Workspace Declarative.
  • Develop custom handlers, user extensions, scripts, and client-side.
  • Ability to participate and provide guidance in technical review sessions for critical projects.
  • Design solutions based on Teamcenter to support engineering functional Product Life Cycle Management including Teamcenter workflows.
  • Develop and maintain the business requirement documents, including analysis, detailed business requirements, and design.
  • Deployments of Teamcenter packages as part of Product releases.
  • Maintains and monitors integration between Teamcenter and other external systems.
  • Support and/or guide team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using issue-based problem-solving principles.
  • Experience working with a geographically disbursed team utilizing Agile Scrum development using Jira.
  • Understanding of installation, configuration, and patching of Teamcenter server and client components, data model (BMIDE) updates, and additional integrations
  • Ability to customize Teamcenter server, Active Workspace Client, Rich client, Thin client, and integrations with NX.
  • Analytical skills with expertise in overall Teamcenter products to solve Teamcenter end user issues.
  • Ability to create test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct end-to-end unit testing, system integration, and UAT testing.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

 

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Teamcenter
  • 3 years in Active Workspace
  • Experience designing/architecting PLM/Teamcenter Solutions for client and server.
  • DoD 8570 compliant (Security+ Cert, OS Cert (Windows or Linux preferred), required clearance level
  • Programming experience in C, C++, ITK, Java, XML, Angular JavaScript, TCL scripting, developing extensions, workflow handlers, and SOA services


Desired:

  • Experience in Amazon Web Services Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of Navy Intranet and DoD IT infrastructure
  • Experience with eQube MI and TcRA platforms for data migration and reporting



Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be eligible to apply and to pass a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Teamcenter and 3 years in Active Workspace.
