Description

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Information Technology Specialist in Cherry Point, NC. Telecommute/Remote eligible. Position Type: Full - Time

Job Description: The Information Technology Specialist will directly support the Program Manager in the technical oversight, direction and execution of development, modernization, and sustainment activities. Subject matter expert (SME) for the development and integration of customizations and configurations of the Product Data Management/Product Lifecycle Management system including the development, optimization, and testing of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and PDM/PLM workflows.

  • Design, develop, and implement data mining, data warehousing, and related data storage and retrieval capabilities for supported platforms.
  • Develop data modeling schemas within supported Database Management Systems (DBMS), Operating Systems (OS), IT architecture (Arch), and Network Topology.
  • Provide IT workload management, Lifecycle documentation, process identification development and adherence; requirements development, software development and testing; hosting facilities requirements; program expansion requirements, and IT Governance compliance.
  • Ensure information security (IS) and information assurance (IA) policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services.
  • Conduct business process reengineering studies and feasibility studies and trade-off analysis, prepare business cases for the application of IT solutions, define systems scope and objective needs.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop detailed specifications for new and existing data reporting requirements with ability to understand performance, quality and schedule considerations.
  • Continually analyzes the interaction between operational systems and other interfacing systems to ensure efficient and effective integration of data and logical processes


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Product Data Management/Product Lifecycle Management systems administration.
  • Experience in leading multiple development projects within a DoD environment required.
  • Teamcenter experience required.
  • Experience in Data mining, data storage, and “Big Data” data mining research methodologies required.
  • CAMEO and/or CATIA applications experience is desired.
  • Windows and/or Unix Operating Systems experience desired.


Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Education: A Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology is desired. IAT/IAM Level I Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security +, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+) is required.
