Description

Position Type: Full-Time (Temporary)
Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize results of the process to recommend solutions and improvements to meet mission readiness objectives
  • Apply advanced skills and experience in systems development, detailed knowledge of business processes, technical background to implement business solutions
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement sessions/workshops to elicit and document business and technical requirements
  • Capture/manage product specifications, epics, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
  • Collect, compile, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, and other logistics systems, resources, and information
  • Support in the identification and analysis of maintenance data in the study of readiness impacts and other logistics metrics to understand deviations from established baselines
  • Support/provide training and product demonstrations to current and new stakeholder communities
  • Develop technical briefs and program documentation in support of operational objectives
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

 

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to support emerging customer and fleet requirements
  • Business proficiency in developing and presenting technical information, and presentations to non-technical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders: sponsors, customers, end users, and trainers




Desired:

  • Agile Product Owner Certification
  • Experience with deployment of applications within the NAVAIR hosting environments
  • Solid understanding of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) policies and procedures
  • Experience with aviation logistics and maintenance programs such as AIRRS, Engine Management, DECKPLATE, NLUR, etc.




Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
BS or BA technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline) and 5 years related experience OR AS or AA degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
