Position Type: Full- Time

Essential Functions:

• The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will design and develop Qlik and Tableau Reports/Dashboards within an Agile environment for a DOD customer
• Create, maintain and enhance BI and analytics systems
• Analyze new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate them with internal sources to support research or analytics
• Obtain, organize, and transform incomplete or unstructured data into forms suitable for modeling and analysis
• Construct cloud-based, virtual dashboards displaying results of analyses
• Develop predictive models using AI and ML techniques
• Derive correlations between operational and engineering factors
• Work with domain experts to ensure that required factors are captured, modeled, and interpreted adequately
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• At least three (3) years’ experience with software development.

Desired:

Experience in one or more of the following areas: 

• Experience using SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Hive.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and other Analytic Computing Environments working with big data.
• Recent experience developing reports with Business Intelligence software such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Zoom Data.
• Experience building repeatable processes for creation, ingestion, and query within traditional and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau or Zoom Data to communicate complex trends, patterns, and findings within large data sets.
• Experience with IBM DSX platform.
• Familiar with regression analysis and modeling.
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT or SVN.
• Experience with data extraction tools such as Data Miner.
• Experience utilizing data from a data lake for reporting.
• Experience in ETL, both in importing data into a warehouse and into reports.
• Experience in an Agile development utilizing Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors).
• Experience with container technology.
• Experience with Anaconda Suite such as Jupyter Notebook.

Security Clearance: 
TS/SSBI preferred, but eligible to start with Secret and SSBI clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline is required.
