Position Type: Full-Time
Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications utilizing ColdFusion or related technologies. Candidate will be required to create and execute SQL queries to verify data and troubleshoot issues. Candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the development of software technical documentation including requirements specifications, design documents, and test plans.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience: Candidates must have at least two years’ experience building transaction-based, RDBMS backed, ColdFusion web applications. Experience with SQL, JavaScript/ JScript/ ECMAScript, CSS and HTML/ XHTML is also required. Experience with the Oracle RDBMS, the jQuery JavaScript APIs and the ColdFusion Fusebox framework is desired. Experience working within proper Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes, utilizing source code control (Apache Subversion) and change management software is a plus. Candidate must be a team player and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
