**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding may require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD or other local base for badging and initial connection to the NMCI network. Essential Functions:
This position supports the DECKPLATE program as a Product Owner/Analyst for a development team that is architecting and implementing solutions following Agile principles. Become part of a multi-disciplinary team that is supporting Naval Aviation Logistic IT infrastructure. Work across a portfolio of web enabled applications (ASP.Net, React, and Java) and databases (Oracle, Sybase, and Teradata) that support Naval Aviation readiness. 

• Ensure that customer requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and implemented. 
• This product owner role may include, but is not limited to the following tasks: participate in Backlog grooming efforts, sprint planning, sprint reviews, customer demos, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate and participate in requirements gathering and analysis efforts with the customers.
• Perform verification and validation of customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Scrum team.
• Interface directly with customers as needed and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain Jira tickets assigned to the scrum team.
• Other Duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required: 

• At least 5 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, Project Lead, Technical Lead, or Analyst.
• Experience Facilitating Government Customer and Project Team meetings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Agile Methodology experience.
• Experience with conducting Agile ceremonies: Product backlog grooming, contributing to sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Desired: 

• Naval Aviation Data knowledge.
• Experienced with writing SQL queries.
• Experience with Jira.
• Experienced supporting projects with Full Life Cycle Software Development processes including requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Experience with: Collaboration Tools (e.g. JIRA, SharePoint); Databases and ERDs (Oracle, Sybase, Teradata, SQL Server); Software Development Documentation.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education: 
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics is required.  Equivalent hands on experience may be substituted.
