Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer - Telework in Patuxent River, MD.  Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services company delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of Defense since 2001. Position Type:Full-Time

Telework Potential:  Telecommute/Remote eligible. Telework schedule requires 2 days per week on-site at Patuxent River, MD and 3 days teleworking, and may include additional on-site requirements on an as needed basis.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop user interfaces and branding of SharePoint site
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain responsive SharePoint website designs with master pages, page layouts, themes, and display templates
  • Develop, test, and maintain custom forms and applications using modern web stack including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST, Bootstrap, Nintex, and SharePoint Designer
  • Create and manage sites, content types, site columns, templates, and workflows
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing sites with SharePoint 2013 or later
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS


  • Experience with Nintex or SharePoint workflows preferred
  • Experience developing data visualizations/dashboards with Qlik desired. 

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics preferred.

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding/training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however on-boarding/training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week during the current COVID-19 situation. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. On-site guidance regarding social distancing, PPE (wearing masks at all times), and proper hand-washing/sanitization procedures are followed.
