Position Type: Full - Time

Essential Functions:

• Assist with installing, configuring, tuning, and maintaining Oracle databases
• Monitor database performance/throughput
• Assist with routine backups
• Create, modify, and delete database accounts
• Perform daily checks on database servers
• Create reports to monitor database information and user activity
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Associates degree required, or high school diploma with 2+ years’ experience in Oracle database administration in lieu of degree
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
