Essential Functions:
Working on the Corporate IT Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting with IT projects. The Corporate IT Support Specialist will provide internal IT support for onsite and remote employees which may include:

  • Provide desktop support, software installation/configuration, and computer setup.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Support IT onboarding/offboarding of employees.
  • Process help desk tickets.
  • Provide Conference Room Support.
  • Other duties as assigned or required including occasional receptionist/front desk support.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • Experience (3-5 years) as an IT support professional, preferably in a mid-sized company environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
  • Experience with server administration, Active Directory, and group policy management.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection measures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve IT processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move/relocate furniture, computer hardware and other related office items.
  • Occasionally work outside regular business hours


Desired:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration, Active Directory, Linux, Windows, NIST 800-171.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, and/or Microsoft Certifications.


Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
A high school diploma OR GED is required.
