Work Location: Hybrid work/in-office. (see onsite requirements below)

**On-Site Requirements: Candidates will be required to work on-site 1 or 2 days a week at MCAS Cherry Point, (Havelock, NC). Telework is authorized, however future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Spalding is looking for someone who is passionate about bringing users an amazing experience that streamlines operations. You will work with stakeholders, both functional and infrastructure, to implement and maintain a web-enabled application with an Oracle transactional database.

Essential Functions:

• Write Jira tasks based on user stories / use cases.
• Develop Java code in an agile environment.
• Test code in local environments
• Work with stakeholders and sprint demos to get feedback on sprint results.
• Work with stakeholders at backlog grooming sessions to understand and prioritize stories
• Work with software testers to help explain implementation and write test scripts.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

• Experience with .NET / C#.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with front-end HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery.
• 10+ years of experience with software development.
• Security + certificate required or must be obtained with in 90 days of onboarding.

Desired:

• Experience with MVC.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Experience with Agile.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is desired.
