Position Type: Full-Time Temporary (~6 months)
Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

 

Essential Functions:

Come join our team as we support Naval Aviation in their implementation of their Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) system. This streamlined approach to managing Naval Logistics Information in one central repository is an innovative change to accessing and managing fleet logistics data. We are seeking an individual with strong Project Analysis/Assistant Skills to help with the capturing and reporting of real-time product information to be leveraged by the AvPLM Product Managers and Teams.

  • This position supports various programs as a Project Assistant for teams that are architecting and implementing solutions following Agile principles.
  • Ability to generate meeting minutes, track action items, compile and update documentation, organize share drives, compile procedures, assist Project Managers, Technical leads, and Scrum Masters, compile and update Project Schedules, create and update CDRL documentation, schedule and attend meetings.
  • Build Leadership presentations and manage data.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

 

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to follow established procedures, and generate quality output.
  • Must possess excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and Project, Excel and Visio.
  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.


Desired:

  • At least 2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in the following or similar applications: MS Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Jira, Outlook, and Teams.


Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
