Spalding Consulting, Inc.is seeking a Software Engineer in Patuxent River, MD. Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Information Technology (IT), Program Management, and Financial Management for the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Position Type: Full - Time

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain web applications and web sites
• Gather and analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design.
• Follows continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• 5 years of web-based software development experience
• C# and .NET experience
• Relational database experience/knowledge required, preferable Oracle or SQL Server

Desired:

• Drupal, GitHub, and CI/CD experience desired.
• Experience with MVC and/or MVVM desired

Security Clearance: 
Active secret clearance highly desired. Interim secret clearance acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics preferred.
