Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office. (see onsite requirements below)

On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Initial training will be mostly virtual, but may require occasional on-site visits a few hours per week during the first few months. On-site support is required 1-2 days per week, as well as occasional evening/weekend onsite or telework support for upgrades/patching. Candidates must reside within 90 miles of Patuxent River, MD

Essential Functions:

• Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows and Unix-based servers.
• Patching of web and application server products such as .NET, Apache, Tomcat, ColdFusion, Java.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and software issues.
• Provides direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teams.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

• Windows web/systems administration experience required.
• Installation/configuration of web and application server software required.
• Troubleshooting of server/software issues required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required (must show proof of cert prior to interview).

Desired:

• Unix web/systems administration experience highly desired.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired.
• IIS and Cloud computing experience desired.

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
High school and 4 years’ related experience required.
