Spalding Consulting, Inc.is seeking a Senior Web/Mobile Developer in Patuxent River, MD. Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Information Technology (IT), Program Management, and Financial Management for the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Position Type: Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Member of a fast-paced team of web/mobile developers providing innovative solutions for a large group of Government clients
• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of web and mobile applications following Agile methodologies
• Research and develop new technologies that can be leveraged at the Command enterprise level
• Design and create portable and scalable web and mobile solutions
• Provide training and mentoring to less experienced technical team members
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• 8 years of web-based software development experience required

Desired:

• Experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise web applications preferred
• C# and .NET framework experience preferred
• Relational database experience/knowledge desired, Oracle or SQL Server preferred
• Experience with SQL and MVC highly desired
• Experience with Bootstrap, Angular JS, and or Knockout preferred
• Experience with Agile methodologies preferred
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS preferred
• Experience with Docker and Containers desired
• Experience with other scripting languages welcome

Security Clearance:
Active secret clearance highly desired. Interim secret clearance acceptable to start.

Education: BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics preferred.  Additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
