Job Description: : Provides financial and/or accounting support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, and other organization support elements and other activities. Applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers. Draws conclusions and devises solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedure efficiency, and resource requirements, utilization or control. Develops and drafts program or project milestone, progress monitoring, financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training documentation. May perform work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analysis. Relies upon and uses automated management information systems in performing fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions.

 

Qualifications and Experience: At least eight (8) years of contract management experience, to include:
  • Development of program acquisition documentation 
  • Development of testing criteria 
  • Development of corrective action systems 
  • Development of program monitoring approach (e.g. PERT, CPM, EVM)
  • Analysis of program’s health
  • Data collection and analysis 
  • Development of cost estimates
  • Development of program status reports
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures



Required: A total of eight (8) years of experience is required with degree. An additional six (6) years of experience for a total of fourteen (14) years of contract management experience is acceptable in leu of degree. 


Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

Education: BS or BA degree in business, management, engineering, or related discipline. A High School Diploma or GED is acceptable with additional years of experience.
