Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Patuxent River, Maryland. Position Type: Full-time

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Attend customer meetings to gather, document, and analyze Stakeholder requirements
• Create detailed requirements documentation, requirements traceability documentation, and test plans
• Work with customer and team in converting requirements to epics, features and user stories and input into Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Gitlab (where applicable)
• Gathers and analyzes data from databases, systems, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
• Assists in testing to ensure requirements have been met
• Facilitate progress meetings to review project tasks across team
• Work closely with software developers to ensure understanding of and adherence to requirements and quality standards
• Measure and report project performance, status, and issues
• Identifies risks, issues, and mitigation plans, and communicates them to leadership
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• 5 years’ experience in requirements analysis.

• Experience in an IT and/or DoD environment highly desired.
• Experience creating work items and reports in TFS/Gitlab desired.
• Experience working in an Agile environment desired.

Security Clearance:
Secret clearance required. Interim secret clearance acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.
