Essential Functions:Spalding Consulting Inc. is seeking a senior software developer that is eager to impress clients with their ability to solve complex problems and develop efficient, and maintainable code base in a team environment.

• The project provides opportunities to develop full stack solutions across a range of languages and technologies. Languages used will be Java and C++.
• Solutions will encompass Web enabled UI, development of restful services, data modeling, and interfacing with Product Lifecycle Maintenance (PLM) tools such as Siemens Teamcenter.
• Develop in an Agile environment using Jira, GIT, Eclipse, Jenkins, to produce release candidates in a rapid timeframe.
• The developer will implement complex workflows, security models and data models across a multi-enclave networking environment to allow the customer to plan work assignments and track effort expended to maintaining Naval aircraft.
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

• At least seven (7) years’ experience developing software solutions using 3rd generation programming languages such as Java and/or C. 
• Two (2) or more years of experience in an Agile environment. 
• Strong desire to learn PLM and new technologies. 
• Experience working with Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM tool is highly desired.
• Security +, CSSLP or other listed certification is required. Ability to obtain within 30 days.
  • E.g. CompTIA Security +, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

Security Clearance: 
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline is desired. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
