Spalding Consulting, Inc.is seeking a Jr. Financial Analyst in Patuxent River, MD. Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Information Technology (IT), Program Management, and Financial Management for the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Position Type:    Full - Time 

Essential Functions:

• Performs financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, and program status reports.
• Responsibilities include providing funding acceptance, and budget entry support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Other Customer Funds (OCF) packages.
• Creating and amending NAVAIR Sales orders and Lines of accounting.
• Managing status of funds in Navy ERP.
• Monitoring and analyzing funds.
• Tracking erroneous disbursements and missing obligations.
• Compiling packages and documentation and uploading in the Document Management System (DMS).
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• At least two years of experience in a business or technical position.

Desired:

• Navy ERP experience, and/or knowledge of DOD FMR, FAR and/or PPBE

Security Clearance:   
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.  Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.  

Education:

• AS or AA degree in a relevant field.
• Substitution: an additional four (4) years of DoD financial and/or accounting experience can be substituted for an AS or AA degree.
